Our attorney, Todd Stearn, rappels 25 stories to raise money for charity.
At the Law Offices of Todd J. Stearn, P.C., our firm is committed to making
a positive impact in the Oakland County community. While we take great
pride in standing for the rights of injury victims, we are also proud
to help raise money for local causes.
In May of this year, our firm sponsored a local charity event called Over
the Edge Detroit, which raised money for two extremely worthy causes.
The event saw more than 80 people rappel more than 25 stories from the
top of Bedrock’s First National Building. The proceeds, which totaled
more than $200,000, helped fund both the Detroit Area Pre-College Engineering
Program (DAPCEP) and the Detroit 2 Nepal Foundation.
Supporting Local Charities
We were particularly excited to be the helmet sponsor for this event as
it supported a local charity, and also provided disaster relief for those
affected by the recent earthquake in Nepal. The pre-college engineering
program teaches science, technology, medicine, engineering, and math to
thousands of students throughout the state of Michigan. In addition to
our attorneys, the participants included businesspeople, bankers, and
a wide range of other local professionals. Three Nepalese doctors from
Beaumont hospital rappelled from the building to support their friends
and family back home.

Our family team (from left) included Attorney Ryan Stearn, art appraiser
Terri Stearn, Attorney Todd Stearn, and local pottery artist Miles Stearn.
Over the Edge was highly successful and a ton of fun, and our firm is proud
to have taken part in this worthy cause. While there are many factors
you should look at when considering a personal injury attorney, we believe
that our community outreach is representative of our firm’s goals.
Many firms claim that they will be “on your side” when you
hire them, but our firm will truly become tireless advocates for your
best interests.
